Tim & Kirsten's Wedding

Makeup is not a tool meant to make an ugly thing beautiful, it is meant only to magnify the beauty that already exists. Here‘s a beautiful bride, who didn’t need much, as all her ‘pretty’ qualities were so clearly there. Choosing the right shade of lipstick was all it took, to enhance that already perfect smile as the rest was down to her natural beauty. She’s classic and gentle and everything you hope your soul mate would be.

I was so blessed to be apart of this intimate wedding as the makeup artist. Kirsten and Tim, I wish you luck with your next chapter together, may you take it with as much grace as you have left the last and may your promise to one another shine through in all that you do.

I promise to give you the best of myself, and to ask of you no more than you can give.

I promise to respect you as your own person, and to realize that your interests, desires and needs are no less important than my own.

I promise to share with you my time and my attention and to bring joy, strength and imagination to our relationship.

I promise to keep myself open to you, to let you see through the window of my world into my innermost fears and feelings, secrets and dreams.

I promise to grow old with you, and to be willing to face changes in order to keep our relationship alive and exciting.

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all I feel inside the only way I know. Completely and forever.

Today I close the door to the past, open the door to the future, take a deep breath, step on through and start a new chapter in my life.
